Avid Reader at Tower is Sacramento's only Independent bookstore selling exclusively new books.
We are located at the historic site of the first Tower Books, at 1600 Broadway, across from Tower Theater and Tower cafe on the Land Park side of Broadway.
Avid Reader at Tower underwrites The CapRadio Book Club and hosts our own book club, which can be found at meetup.com.
We hold author events twice monthly from January through October. For more information contact us via email at atevents@avidereader.com.
